Potty Training Reward
For about three weeks Glen told Lucy that if she filled a poster board of stickers for each time she went to the potty, he would buy her a violin. This was the big reveal... her reward.

Lucy & Michael Share their B-day Party
Since Michael and Lucy are only 3 weeks apart, we decided to combine their party. It was intended to be outside, but we got rained out (second year for this to happen). Turned out to be a great party. The kids enjoyed having an inside egg hunt and a big inflated jumping area that fit in the bonus room.
The joys of crayons, markers and paint.
Glen is starting to understand that this is what girls LOVE to do.
This gift was a big hit. Rain boots...
Rain hat...
And best of all... an umbrella. She has been asking for one for months. Appropriate for this day since the party had to be moved inside due to rain.

Lucy: What are you thinking about?
Me: What am I thinking about?
Lucy: Yeah. Are you thinking about Jesus?
Me: I am now.

Lucy: did you find our blue car?
Me: yes, here it is.
Lucy: Good job mommy. I'm so proud of you.

Lovesless Cafe
The girl LOVES biscuits.
Jack's first time at Loveless eating squash casserole.
I'm afraid we waited too late, as the sun was just going down. The sign below is a tribute to the late Carol Fey, the biscuit lady.

Jack's 1st "Real" Dinner
Exploring New Foods
SuperDaddy just figured out how to get Jack to eat stage 3 foods! (Feed him star puffs after a chunky bite.) We quickly transitioned from stage 3 to table food. At Easter lunch, Jack ate mashed potatoes, cheesy rice casserole, cream cheese and green beans. At home, he's been eating carrots, bananas and hummus. He's headed to Texas next week, so bring on the avocados and refried beans. Too bad Daddy won't be with us to change his diapers! :(
