Potty Training Reward

For about three weeks Glen told Lucy that if she filled a poster board of stickers for each time she went to the potty, he would buy her a violin. This was the big reveal... her reward.

Lucy & Michael Share their B-day Party

Since Michael and Lucy are only 3 weeks apart, we decided to combine their party. It was intended to be outside, but we got rained out (second year for this to happen). Turned out to be a great party. The kids enjoyed having an inside egg hunt and a big inflated jumping area that fit in the bonus room.

Potty Training Incentive: Day 2

We felt like Lucy needed a little extra push (and visual aid) to meet her potty training goal. Each time she goes, she puts a sticker on the poster board. Once she fills the board, her Daddy will buy her a violin.

Jack never has a problem falling asleep in Glen's arms (Lucy was the same way). He has a gift.

Lucy's Learning to Read

Lucy helped me build and read some words on the Words With Friends app on my iPhone. She actually sounded out each of these words.

Jack's 1st "Real" Dinner

Jack ate whole wheat penne with fire-roasted tomato/garlic sauce and carrots. He did pretty well with his first full-on table food meal.

Exploring New Foods

SuperDaddy just figured out how to get Jack to eat stage 3 foods! (Feed him star puffs after a chunky bite.) We quickly transitioned from stage 3 to table food. At Easter lunch, Jack ate mashed potatoes, cheesy rice casserole, cream cheese and green beans. At home, he's been eating carrots, bananas and hummus. He's headed to Texas next week, so bring on the avocados and refried beans. Too bad Daddy won't be with us to change his diapers! :(
